Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,

The Federation of Immunological Societies of Asia-Oceania (FIMSA) Advanced Training Course will be held from January 15th – January 16th, 2024 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. This educational course is hosted by the Japanese Society for Immunology (JSI). It is my great pleasure to enthusiastically welcome you to the FIMSA Advanced Training Course on behalf of FIMSA Councilors.

FIMSA Advanced Training Courses have been held in various places in Asia, although this is the first time to have it in Japan. Thus, we will support travel and accommodation expenses for poster presenters (please find the website for details). The participants of the Training Course are also privileged to attend the 52nd annual meeting of the JSI, which will be held in the same conference venue following the training course from January 17th – January 19th.

This Advanced Training Course was originally planned to be held in 2020, however, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We wish to have the course on-site and hope COVID-19 will be kept under control.

We look forward to seeing you in person in Chiba, Japan.

Sincerely Yours,

Osamu Takeuchi
Vice-president, Federation of Immunological Societies of Asia-Oceania

On behalf of the Japanese Society for Immunology (JSI), we are pleased to co-host the FIMSA Advanced Training Course.

As our JSI annual meeting overlaps with the FIMSA Advanced Training Course, participants are free to access both meetings. We believe that it will contribute to the participants learning cutting-edge research and give opportunities to interact with international distinguished scientists.

Sincerely yours,

Tomohiro Kurosaki
President, the Japanese Society for Immunology
